Dr. Jeff Gardere is a practicing clinical psychologist, radio, TV and talk show host, as well as author of three books, and monthly articles for print and online magazines.
I was sick and tired of seeing all those intelligent, single women alone, or in one bad relationship after another. I was also getting tired of hearing black men and women complaining about one another, finger pointing all the time. I knew this negative situation had to be addressed.
I knew that "love" was the answer, not animosity, and anger!
For too long, we have addressed the aftermath of slavery and racism being the economic and educational inequities. I thought it was time for us to look at how racism and slavery was affecting our relationships.
I finished "Love Prescription" in about six months.
I have been writing for about 10 years now.

I have disciplined myself to write in any environment Whether it is in my living room with my four kids around, or on the subway.. my schedule is so busy....I write whenever I can.
